Angela Barnes, Business Immigration Specialist at Napthens LLP, will then guide you through the process and procedure for recruiting staff from outside the UK, which will include an application for a Skilled Worker Sponsor Licence (“Licence”), assigning Certificate of Sponsorships to migrant workers and ensuring your business meets its compliance duties and responsibilities and a Licence holder.

Angela is a business immigration specialist at Napthens LLP, helping businesses with their UK immigration matters and providing pragmatic solutions to often complex situations. On a daily basis, Angela advises on the prevention of illegal working and carrying out right to work checks; obtaining permission for applicants to live and work in the UK; assisting employers in applying for sponsor licences and advising on their compliance duties as a sponsor licence holder. Angela also assists clients in making representations to prevent the revocation or downgrading of sponsor licences. In recent times, Angela has spent a significant amount of time advising businesses on the impact of Brexit on their people strategy, as well as the balance of illegal working and discrimination risks.

Jenny is an HR Consultant and leads the People Projects team at Napthens LLP, which provides proactive, practical and strategic HR support and expertise on an outsourced basis.
Her role is to support you to get the best out of your people and ultimately achieve your business objectives. During her time with Napthens, Jenny has developed bespoke HR processes to support the employee lifecycle, such as recruitment and induction process and performance management & appraisal systems.
