Introducing Lyra, your new AI powered assistant for health and social care

November 18, 2025

Today, QCS launches Lyra, our new AI powered assistant for health and social care providers.

We know how busy your days are. Staff ask questions, policies change, and you are expected to stay compliant while delivering great care. Finding the right information quickly can be a challenge. Lyra has been built to take some of that pressure away.

What is Lyra?

Lyra sits inside your QCS platform and gives you fast, clear answers to the questions you face every day. It helps you and your team understand the policies and procedures you rely on so you can feel confident that you are following the right process.

If you need to report a safeguarding concern, check what to do during an incident, or want a simple summary of a policy, Lyra gives you the answer in seconds. It uses trusted QCS content written by experts with decades of experience in social care. This means your team no longer need to search through documents or interrupt you for guidance. They get the right information straight away, and you save valuable time.

Lyra is not just technology. It is a partner that supports you in delivering safer and more consistent care with less stress and less searching.

How Lyra supports managers and business owners

Lyra helps reduce the number of day-to-day questions from staff, speeds up learning, and gives your team the confidence to follow the right steps. This leaves you with more time to focus on quality, leadership, and the running of your service. Whether you manage a small team or a larger organisation, Lyra helps everyone work more efficiently.

Built for diverse teams

Lyra understands other languages, which means it can support a wide range of staff and make guidance easier to access for everyone.

Coming soon to Lyra

Lyra Multi Policy

Soon, Lyra will be able to pull information from several policies and procedures at once. This means you will get a clear, combined answer without checking different documents. If you ask a question about a fall, Lyra will draw from your Falls Management policy and your Accidents and Incidents policy, for example, to give you the safest and most accurate guidance. This supports quicker decisions and reduces the risk of missing important information.

Care Plan Insights

Lyra will soon be able to highlight patterns and insights within your service users care plans. This helps you spot areas of support that may need more attention and gives you an early view of trends that could affect care outcomes. It is designed to help you prioritise, plan, and direct your team where it matters most.
