Quality Assurance Human Resources Quality Assurance Region: | Reference: GQH01

This policy has been reviewed and updated to include that due notification is to be made to regulatory bodies about any planned or unplanned absences of the Registered Manager that is for a continuous period of 28 days or more. A definition of contingency measures has been added and a link to organisation chart template guides has been included in the further reading section. References have been checked and updated.

This policy has been reviewed and the title updated to Quality Assurance and Good Governance Policy and Procedure, previously it was Quality Assurance Policy and Procedure. This is to reflect the additional content, definitions and further reading in relation to Regulation 17: Good governance, which requires providers to monitor and drive improvement in the quality and safety of the services provided, including the quality of the experience for people using the service.
