This policy will be a key policy through the COVID-19 pandemic if an employer is looking to make use of Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme due to a downturn in work. This policy sets out how an employer can temporarily lay off or give short-time working and take advantage of the EWSS where there is 30% reduction in turnover (see full policy for details).
