Safeguarding - Domiciliary Care
This policy details how confidentiality and data protection should be undertaken in the service to ensure the overall safety of information. It has been reviewed and updated with increased emphasis placed on data protection and confidentiality, as well as consideration for company data confidentiality. The title has been changed to ‘Data Protection and Confidentiality Policy and Procedure’ to reflect these changes. Previously it was ‘Confidentiality Policy and Procedure’.
This new policy sets out the organisations commitment to supporting the Service User in expressing their sexuality and conducting personal relationships.
The policy has been reviewed to comply with the new QCS format, and legal references have been updated.
The purpose of this Overarching Policy and Procedure is to outline key points and responsibilities regarding Medication Management. This policy and procedure should be used alongside the associated QCS Medication policies and procedures that provide further detail and supports the implementation of this policy.
