Security Policy and Procedure

This policy will support a service to maintain the safety and security of all its service users, staff and visitors. It has been reviewed and updated with a statement regarding the impact of COVID-19 on security added, given the impact this has on care homes at present. Re-Opening to Visitors During COVID-19 Policy and Procedure

The policy has been reviewed to include Scotland’s Strategic Framework Guidance, developed to inform the public of the various restrictions and protection levels in the local authority areas in Scotland. Supporting Independence with Holidays Policy and Procedure

This policy will guide staff on how best to support people who wish to go on holiday and the safeguards to put in place to minimise risk, which enables people to make an informed choice. Coronavirus Policy and Procedure

COVID-19 Hub Health and Safety COVID-19 Region: | Reference: SHS15

This policy will support staff to understand the impact of coronavirus and how to support those in their care whilst adhering to government guidance. The policy has been amended to include the current government guidance, called Scotland’s Strategic Framework, and adult care home visiting guidance which informs all individuals on the restrictions they must adhere to depending in the area they live. New references have been included.

Duty of Candour Policy and Procedure
