Child Protection Policy and Procedure
The policy will support staff on how to minimise risk to children and includes a reference to the new legislation, the Children (Equal Protection from Assault) (Scotland) Act 2019. An explanation of this was added to 4.1. All other references were checked and remain current.
Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 Policy and Procedure
This policy will guide staff on the process to follow, ensuring compliance with legal statutes. It has been reviewed with minimal change. References and links have been checked and remain current.
Duty of Candour Policy and Procedure
The regulation became law in Scotland on 01/04/2018 and all staff need to know the process of identifying and reporting any incidents which may be reportable under the Act. This policy was reviewed with a new duty of candour checklist added, references and links checked and remain current.
Whistleblowing Policy and Procedure
This policy will inform staff on how to whistleblow and details how they will be supported should they wish to do so. Policy amended in the purpose section and 6.10 added, some custom fields added. References have been reviewed and updated.
Recruitment of Ex-Offenders Policy and Procedure

Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Management Policy and Procedure
This policy will support staff to deliver specific care to each individual, to risk assess their skin and inform them on interventions to lessen the risk or deal with tissue damage. There are many best practice resources to read and develop staff knowledge. The policy has been reviewed and updated to reflect the Scottish Adapted EUPAP tool and includes reference to the Scottish Excoriation and Moisture Related Skin Damage Tool.
