Recruitment of Ex-Offenders Policy and Procedure
Policy reviewed with significant changes to include information on spent and unspent convictions. References and links checked and remain current. Policy will support staff who are responsible for recruitment on the process to follow to ensure they comply with Disclosure Scotland.
Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Management Policy and Procedure
This policy will support staff to deliver specific care to each individual, to risk assess their skin and inform them on interventions to lessen the risk or deal with tissue damage. There are many best practice resources to read and develop staff knowledge. The policy has been reviewed and updated to reflect the Scottish Adapted EUPAP tool and includes reference to the Scottish Excoriation and Moisture Related Skin Damage Tool. Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003 Policy and Procedure
This policy will help staff understand the Act and how it applies to individuals who may be ill and require intervention. It has been reviewed with minimal change, reference and links checked and remain current.

Policy reviewed and converted to the new QCS format. This policy content has been revised to reflect the variation in operational models with home care and the policy title has been amended from Key Worker Policy and Procedure to Continuity and Consistency of Care Policy and Procedure.

Complex Behaviour Policy and Procedure
The policy has been reviewed to ensure that the policy and procedure, references and terminology reflect up-to-date theory and thinking about complex behaviours. This policy is been merged with the De-escalation Policy and Procedure as it is recognised that this is a fundamental strategy for supporting behaviours that may challenge. The De-escalation Policy and Procedure has been archived. New resources have been added to support staff who are working with people who may present with behaviours that may challenge.
Medical Emergency Policy and Procedure
This policy outlines what to do in the event of a medical emergency. The policy has been reviewed with no significant changes and references checked and updated.
