All prospective employees should be subject to a risk assessment for a DBS check and, if they are assessed as requiring a DBS check, consideration should be given to the appropriate level. The policy has been reviewed with no significant changes and references checked and updated.
This policy details the framework in place for anti-bullying. It has been reviewed with changes to the Procedure section only which has been updated to state that the employee will be informed of the outcome of the complaint after the investigation. This policy has been revised to include the reporting procedures required when concerns about Modern Slavery or Human Trafficking are raised. This policy references updated statutory guidance. Additional information has been included on the risk of Modern Slavery during COVID-19. Guidance on writing a Modern Slavery statement has been added to the Forms section of the document with a template to support the development of a statement. Indicators of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking have been added to forms. This policy was previously entitled Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy and Procedure and was located under the Human Resources category.

It includes reference to government guidelines and the list of destinations that are exempt from advice against ‘all but essential travel’ that people can now travel to.
