Right to Work Checks Policy and Procedure #5

This policy has had a name change to the ‘Right to Work Checks Policy and Procedure’ (previously known as Employment of Non-UK Citizens Policy and Procedure). The reason for this is to promote that Right to Work checks should be carried out on every prospective employee, not just non-UK citizens. The policy has been updated to include reference to the fact that the new Online Right to Work Checking Service now gives employers a statutory defence to any illegal working should they have followed it fully and completely.
