Mock Inspection: Effective
This policy has been reviewed and updated to include the CQC’s additional prompts for triage apps supporting healthcare services, and additional questions in the documents in the ‘Forms’ section relating to the CQC Transitional Monitoring Approach for GPs during the COVID-19 pandemic. An additional reference and further reading have been added to include links to the other mock inspection toolkits. Existing references have been reviewed and updated.
Immunisations and Vaccinations Policy and Procedure
This policy has been reviewed and the content updated to reflect the new COVID-19 vaccine which is currently being offered to people most at risk from coronavirus. Key facts have been updated to ensure staff must be aware of the latest guidance on the COVID-19 vaccination and testing. New references have been added including ‘COVID-19: the green book, chapter 14a’ and further reading has been added about the COVID Vaccination Programme. Existing references have been reviewed and updated.
Staff Immunisations Policy and Procedure
This policy has been reviewed and the content updated to reflect the new COVID-19 vaccine which is being offered to frontline health and social care staff. A definition has been added about the JCVI, key facts have been updated to ensure staff must be aware of the latest guidance on the COVID-19 vaccination and testing, and the Vaccine Refusal Form has been updated to include the COVID-19 vaccine in the list of vaccines offered. A new reference has been added to include COVID-19: the green book, chapter 14a and further reading has been added about the COVID Vaccination Programme. Existing references have been reviewed and updated.
Staff Rota Policy and Procedure
This policy has been reviewed with a new Staff Attendance Record form added. No other changes have been made to the content. References have been reviewed and updated.

This policy has been reviewed with no significant changes to the content. References have been reviewed and updated.
Asbestos Policy and Procedure
New: Asbestos can present a significant long-term danger to everyone who works at and visits our buildings and exposure to it can kill. Key to the safe management of it is having an effective asbestos management plan in place. All staff need to be aware of the plan and what is required of them should asbestos be found on site. This is a new policy which will need to be discussed at all levels of the business and during team meetings.

This policy has been reviewed and updated. A section has been added to the end of the form to attach/copy the Practice organisational chart and further reading has been added. References have been checked and updated.
Whistleblowing Policy and Procedure
This policy has been reviewed and the content updated, including the purpose section. Further definitions have been added and references have also been reviewed and updated.
Zero Tolerance Policy and Procedure
This policy has been reviewed and updated to include a reference to the Home Visiting Risk Assessment. Content has been added to outline the process for Patient removals for violent or aggressive Patients and the special allocation scheme. Further reading and additional references have been added. Existing references have been reviewed and updated.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Policy and Procedure
This policy has been reviewed and updated to include PPE guidance during the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in line with PHE recommendations. Information has been added about PPE compliance, use and storage, single use and sessional PPE, PPE audit, the IPC Lead responsibilities and the current requirement for the use of face masks for non-clinical staff.
Further reading and references have been added for doffing PPE and existing references have been checked and updated.
