Legislation has been inserted with reference to the Working Times (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Regulations 2020. A new procedure has been included to confirm that employees are now entitled to carry 4 weeks’ paid leave into the following two annual leave years if prevented from taking holidays due to Coronavirus. A new form ‘Notice to take annual leave under Regulation 15(2) WTR 1998‘ and further references have been added, whilst the Welsh Lines of Enquiry have also been added.
New policy: This is a new policy to support the further easing of lockdown measures and to identify ways of supporting staff who may have been shielding to return to work safely wherever possible. The policy is also to support the risk assessment process to identify workers who may be at increased risk from COVID-19. There is a risk assessment template to support the process within the risk assessment section of the QCS management system that can be adapted to meet individual and organisational need. This policy will also assist when reviewing the business continuity plans, ensuring that there are sufficient numbers of staff.
This policy has been reviewed in line with recent Welsh government COVID-19 changes including travelling beyond a local area for any purpose and the forming of ‘extended households’. References have also been included in relation to these changes.
This policy details how visitors play an important part in the lives of Individuals and the measures that have to be followed during COVID-19. The policy has been updated and now includes three templates (one for residents and one for families) on the steps taken within the home to keep people safe and another is a Visitor Code, for when re-introducing visits to the home.
This policy has been updated in line with the continual changes of the coronavirus pandemic, in particular the lockdown changes announced for 6th July 2020. It must be read with the Infection Control Policy and Procedure, the Business Continuity Policy and Procedure and Coronavirus Policy and Procedure. It outlines what actions must be taken to prepare for a pandemic. Resources have also been updated to ensure they remain current.
