Display Screen Equipment Policy and Procedure

This policy will support a service in the use of Display Screen Equipment and the necessary assessments to complete. It has been updated to include reference to the requirement for employers to support employees with glasses in certain circumstances. Other minor content changes have been made throughout the policy. References have also been updated to ensure they remain current.

This policy will support with security in a premises and has been updated to amend the references to the COVID-19 element of the procedure to limit the scope of this policy to its intended purpose. This policy details the approach a service should take to adhere to the duty of candour principles. It has been reviewed and a new policy statement on coronavirus added as well as a new reference. Remaining references also updated to ensure they remain current.

COVID-19 Testing Policy and Procedure

COVID-19 Hub Care Management COVID-19 Region: | Reference: WCC98

This policy will support staff with the COVID-19 testing process. It has been reviewed and updated in light of a new Care Inspectorate Wales bulletin on lateral flow device testing in social care services. The procedural sections have been updated and reference to the move to the UK ordering portal and issuing of UONs added. Further reading reference to the bulletin also included.

Discipline Policy and Procedure

Human Resources Performance & Discipline Region: | Reference: WPP03

This policy governs the position when carrying out a disciplinary procedure and ensures that, should this be followed, the procedure will be in compliance with the ACAS Code of Practice and therefore procedurally fair. It has been updated to clarify the position when an employee is summarily dismissed.
